Little Library

Literary morning

I am a Bunny by Richard Scarry - Excellent board book

The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupery - Classique!

Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson - Swashbuckling...

Peter Rabbit by Wallace C. Wadsworth - oh so cute illustrations, a family heirloom.

Best Story Book Ever by Richard Scarry - one of Elliott's favorites, he loves the insect section.

In the Night Kitchen by Maurice Sendak - a little boy's trip through a trippy dream with holocaust undertones.  Controversial.

Coco The Far Out Poodle by Jon Whitcomb - I love Coco, what a priss.

The Muffin Muncher by Steven Cosgrove- 'Helping others makes it easier for them to help you', written by a hippie power couple.

Cautionary Tales For Children by Hilaire Belloc - Teaches some hard hitting lessons with some serious consequences.

The Golden Circus by Kathryn Jackson - I would love to join this circus, and some of the animals are flocked for your petting pleasure.

Moths and Mothers, Feathers and Fathers by Larry Shles - owl family

Animal Children The Friends of the Forest and the Plain by Edith Brown Kirkwood - the most beautiful dressed up animals I've ever seen.  This book needs to be a post on it's own.

I Like You by Sandol Stoddard Warburg - I like you too.
